Beyoncé and Jay Z rented out a wildlife park for their daughter's second birthday.

The couple hired out the Jungle Island bird sanctuary in Miami Zoo on Tuesday (07.01.14) and spent the whole afternoon checking out the monkeys, penguins and kangaroos with their child Blue Ivy.

It is not yet known how much the pair - who tied the knot in 2008 - spent on the bash, but they were keen for it to be a big success, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

It was previously revealed Jay Z's close friend Kanye West - who has seven-month-old daughter North with his fiancée Kim Kardashian - even wrote Blue Ivy a lullaby as he wanted to do something special for the youngster on her birthday.

Meanwhile, the 32-year-old singer and the 44-year-old rapper are keen to add to their brood as they want company for their daughter.

Beyoncé said last year: ''I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being big sister ... And I am very protective. I just want to make sure that she can have a healthy, safe, normal life ... in the back of my mind, she's my priority. And life is completely different now. I feel really, really just lucky that I can still do what I love, and now have a way bigger meaning. And that's to be her mother.''
