You might still be sitting in your office this week, but Beyonce is standing on the sun (metaphorically speaking, of course).
Beyonce fans are having a good week, which saw the singer not only perform Grown Woman in full for the first time, but also release a preview for her sea-soaked summery jam Walking on the Sun. The song is featured in a video for H&M’s summer collection and features Beyonce and her backup dancers, a number of H&M swimsuits and, of course, copious amounts of sun, sea and sand. The summery video also has a good cause attached to it though (besides getting you excited for summer), because a quarter of the profits from the H&M swimsuit collection will be donated to WaterAid.
It’s the song that takes center stage in this video, though. Unlike the previous singles off the new album, Walking on the Sun reveals Bey’s softer side, as she croons: "I can't deny your desire/ Feel like I'm on fire/ When you touch me/ I feel the flame." The tune’s relaxed lovey-dovey feel is complemented by its relaxed island sound. The track is the work of hitmaker Sia and the video comes to you courtesy of Jonas Akerland, who was also the man behind the video for Beyonce’s collab with Lady Gaga, Telephone. If you feel like getting a head start on your summer playlist, or maybe scouting out some swimwear from the H&M collection, due to hit stores next month, you can check out the Walking on the Sun video below.
