Beyonce Is A Fashionable AND Charitable Role Model At Chime For Change Anniversary Event

Any and all elevator-related incidents from last month were forgotten at Tuesday night’s Chime for Change anniversary event, held by Gucci director Creative Director Frida Giannini and T Magazine editor-in-chief Deborah Needleman at Gucci Fifth Avenue in New York City, which Beyonce and Solange Knowles attended together. The sisters rocked complementary outfits, with Bey opting for a white halter jumpsuit and Solange sporting white trousers and a bright orange shirt. Very 90s, we approve.

More importantly, Bey reportedly donated a substantial amount of money toward the good cause. "At the Gucci Chime for Change event in NYC, Beyoncé just announced a personal donation of $500,000 to the charity," Women's Wear Daily tweeted. We’re calling that Reason #432556 to like Beyonce.

Back to the real point of the evening though. According to the website, Chime for Change is a global campaign that helps strengthen and unite the voices of women all around the world.

Beyoncé is a co-founder, along with Giannini and Salma Hayek.
