Life is good right now for Beyonce, but as her upcoming HBO documentary Life Is But A Dream will reveal, it’s not all been plain sailing for the Destiny’s Child star.
In the documentary, Beyonce touches on her miscarriage, which had remained a secret until Jay-Z referenced it in his song Glory. She says, “It was the saddest thing I've ever been through. My life is a journey. ... I had to go through my miscarriage, I believe I had to go through owning my company and managing myself ... ultimately your independence comes from knowing who you are and you being happy with yourself.”
The ever-candid star’s doc will air this Saturday, the same day as her interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which she reveals her pregnancy weight gain. “I did a show three months after giving birth, which was crazy,' she says in a clip from the forthcoming interview. “I had clearly never given birth, and I didn't know that I would gain 60 pounds.”
We’ve saved the best for last, though. A leaked picture sees Beyonce holding her daughter Blue Ivy. The one-year-old looks startled and extremely cute, while her loving mum can’t seem to take her eyes off her. She might have to for a while though, as The Mrs Carter Show World Tour kicks off in April.
