The Crazy in Love singer and her husband of seven years have been dogged by reports their union is on the rocks ever since Jay Z was caught on camera in a bust-up with Beyonce's sister Solange in an elevator last year (14).

They were hit with a fresh round of rumours in September (15), and Beyonce attempted to stop the speculation by sharing a photograph of the rapper kissing her on the forehead during a family vacation.

Beyonce's dad and former manager Mathew Knowles has now spoken out to insist the stories do not hurt the singer because she is surrounded by good people.

"You don't even know half the stuff!" he told Britain's Heat magazine when asked about the reports. "I don't have time to read it, but that stuff doesn't mean anything to Beyonce. I'm so proud of her - she's surrounded with a wonderful team who I trained. Beyonce will make mistakes, we all do, but she has learned from them."

Mathew previously declared the separation reports and elevator incident helped boost ticket sales for the couple's joint 2014 tour, and Solange's own trek.

"Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 per cent!" he told Texas radio station 104.1 KRBE.
