Beyonce's Father Mathew Knowles Has Been Ordered To Hand Over More Than $20,000 (£12,500) To Bosses Of An Accountancy Firm For Allegedly Failing To Pay For Their Services.
The former music manager was hit with a $62,000 (£39,000) bill for using Platinum Tax Defenders, a "tax resolution service", for financial assistance, but he only paid off around $37,000 (£23,000) of the sum, according to legal papers.
Bosses of the company sued Knowles and when he failed to show up in court, a judgment ordering him to pay more than $20,000 was issued, according to TMZ.com.
Knowles has suffered a number of financial setbacks in recent years, including unpaid tax bills and a legal battle with his former mistress Alexsandra Wright over child support payments for their child Nixon, who was born in 2010.
Knowles was dismissed as Beyonce's manager in 2011.
