It is unclear whether the new track will feature on Beyonce's new album.
Beyonce's Pepsi commercial song 'Grown Woman' has emerged in full online. As usual, there are few details available other than that the track was reportedly produced by Timbaland and is littered with the R&B superstar's trademarks, including clattering percussions and empowering lyrics.
It's a catchy track though there's no word on whether it will feature on Beyonce's forthcoming album. Some speculation has suggested it is the first single from the record, though this is yet to be confirmed." I'm a grown woman," she sings. "I do whatever I want," on the track lyrically similar to 'Run The World (Girls).'
The cynics amongst us would suggest Beyonce's team leaked the new track to deflect attention away from rumors that she is pregnant for a second time, though Jay-Z already attempted to play down the reports with a statement read out on Hot 97. "It's not true. The news is worse than blogs," said the mogul, which doesn't make any sense at all really. Bey's recent cancellation of a show in Antwerp, Belgium, was taken as confirmation that she was expecting again but that's now looking unlikely.
Anyway, pregnant or not, Beyonce's Grown Woman is now available online. Listen below. What do you think?
