Last year (14), it emerged in leaked emails that Knowles had apparently pitched the idea for a film based on the Bootylicious hitmakers' career back in 2013, and now he has confirmed negotiations are ongoing.

Although he has not divulged which production company is interested, Knowles tells the Huffington Post, "My second book will be the autobiography of Destiny's Child. I'm talking to the film and TV community right now, regarding a Destiny's Child movie or TV series of some sort."

Knowles also admits he still hopes his famous daughter can reunite with her former bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a new album or tour, adding, "I still manage the ladies, and I'm hopeful that within the next two to three years we'll see something major come from it."

Rumours of a Destiny's Child biopic first surfaced when hackers broke into Sony Pictures' computer system and leaked thousands of emails, among them a note from a subsidiary company chief to Sony bosses stating: "(Knowles is) going to Universal next... Do we think it would be a successful film? They're on Sony label. I'm just not sure that it's not too soon."
