Ariana Grande and Big Sean's new romance seems to be heating up very fast, and it is all down to the two stars being close friends beforehand. They first became friendly in 2013 when collaborating on the track 'Right There,' and then on the 21 year-old singer' most recent hit 'Problem.'

Although hardly any details of Grande and Sean's new relationship are known, a source recently told Us Weekly that "it's gone from 0 to 60 fast," mainly because they had "chemistry immediately."

The 26 year-old rapper was previously engaged to 'Glee' actress Naya Rivera but they ended up going their separate ways this past April. "After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," a rep said at the time.

Whereas Ariana split from her 19 year-old Australian hubby Jai Brooks last month after he reportedly wasn't supportive enough when her grandfather sadly passed away.

Neither individual has directly commented on their relationship status, but Grande did gush about him when speaking to Ryan Seacrest in July. "I did another song with one of my best friends, Big Sean, and it's called Best Mistake, and it's one of my favourites on the album," she said.

During an appearance on the Today show late last month, the former Disney star also said she's "happy" when asked about her love life by Matt Lauer.
