Former U.S. leader Bill Clinton is a grandfather - his Tv personality daughter Chelsea has given birth.

The 34 year old and her husband Marc Mezvinsky welcomed their first child together on Friday (September 26).

Announcing the news on Twitter.com Chelsea wrote, "Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky."

The former First Daughter confirmed reports she was pregnant in April (14).
