Hollywood better get its thick skin on this Sunday.
So, Bill Cosby jokes – too soon? Or are they getting old now? Well, as far as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are concerned, it’s neither, so the comedic duo will not hesitate to poke fun at the disgraced sitcom star. Not to worry though – this is feminist powerhouses Fey and Poehler here, so we’ll likely be spared the cringe-worthy rape jokes.
Is nothing sacred? Nope, not at the Golden Globes.
Meanwhile, get ready to hear a lot of Cliff Huxtable jokes or something. We’re sure the duo will find some way to make this terrible, horrible, depressing year of awfulness suck a little bit less.

The interview barely addressed the actual issue of the accusations.
After all the outrage surrounding the Bill Cosby case, the former sitcom star has finally spoken out to the media and, more importantly, his wife. Here’s what Cosby had to say about the rape accusations to the New York Post’s Page Six.
Cosby failed to address the accusations head on and commented instead on the resillience of his wife.
"Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind," Cosby told the publication's Stacy Brown, who noted that he frequently writes for African-American publications.

We've had plenty of Cosby-related jokes over the past week, but this one... well, see for yourself.
Roseanne Barr has a sick and twisted sense of humor – but that’s why her fans love her, right? The comedienne made more than a few people cringe with a couple of tweets recently. Bonus points – she referenced the highly publicized Bill Cosby case from the past couple of weeks. Posting a picture of her bloody, swollen face, Barr added the caption “Got in a tussle w Bill Cosby. U shoyld see that mfer.”
Roseanne Barr, under normal circumstances.
We can't actually show you the tweet, because, you know, she deleted it. But once you put something online, it's there forever, so you can see a screenshot over on New York Daily News. So was Roseanne's tweet bold and gutsy for challenging Cosby on the rape allegations, or just plain insensitive to actual victims of violence? Discuss.

So, how does the internet feel about Che's commentary?
So last night’s Saturday Night Live was a heavy hitter. And not because of Cameron Diaz, who was a perfectly fine host, but because Michael Che used the Weekend Update segment to address... I can hear you groaning already... the Bill Cosby thing.
After all the attention directed at Cosby recently, SNL went there.
While Che, much like many others, isn’t really sure where he stands on the scandal (more about that here) his speech was pretty much the most honest piece of media to hit the internet over the past week. Here’s what Che had to say, in a nutshell:
“TV Land pulled all re-runs of 'The Cosby Show. I don't know how to feel about that because I don't know Bill Cosby, but Cliff Huxtable practically raised me. I love that dude!”

Barbara Bowman has just added her voice to the chorus of accusers Cosby faces.
Bill Cosby has fired back at the comedian, who roasted him during a standup a couple months back. And if you know anything about Bill Cosby – all tweens look away now – you’ll have guessed already that it was NOT pretty. Unfortunately for Cosby – and really, for anyone involved in this story at all – defending yourself against rape accusations is a bit different from defending yourself against a particularly harsh punchline.
Bill Cosby is in major PR trouble these days.
On Thursday, Cosby was hit with a rape accusation bMoy fellow comedian Barbara Bowman. The woman, who worked with Cosby back in the 70s, published an essay in the Washington Post, alleging that he assaulted her on numerous occasions. Keith Richards isn't the only celebrity to write a children's book, check out these other celebrity authors who have dabbled in children's literature.
OK, so Keith Richards has released a children’s book called ‘Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar’, which was inspired by his own childhood and first experiences with music. There are lots of things that we think of Keith Richards as being, a children’s author is certainly not one. That said, we’re sure that the book will be magical and the sneak peek at illustrations indicate they will be beautiful, but it’s got us thinking about which other celebrities have written children’s books. And wow. You would not believe some of the celebs that have!
Keith Richards Has Penned A Children's Book
Bill Cosby wrote a book for children. Yep, the Bill Cosby, from The Cosby Show fame. The one who is always been accused of being inappropriate in a manner of ways. Cosby’s book is called ‘The Day I Was Rich’ and purports to teach children the value of friendship over money. When Little Bill (nothing Freudian to see here) discovers what he thinks is a huge diamond, which turns out to be a glass paperweight, he and friends are momentarily deflated before returning to the fun they had before they discovered the ‘treasure’. Heartwarming stuff.
The project is similar to "The Cosby Show", which ended twenty years ago.
Exciting news for Cosby Show fans – 20 years after his original show ended, Bill Cosby is planning his return to television with a new NBC series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project will reunite Cosby with producer Tom Werner of Carsey Werner, who worked on the original show. Like on NBC’s The Cosby Show and CBS’s Cosby, the comedian will play the head of a multigenerational family, sharing some of his marriage and parenting wisdom in the process.
Cosby teased his return to television back in 2013.
The news follows a Yahoo interview from last year, in which Cosby mentioned that he was planning a return to television. At the moment, the project is recruiting writers and gearing up for development outside of the usual pilot season.

Lou Scheimer, a giant in TV animation, passed away earlier this week.
Lou Scheimer, founder of Filmation Studio and one of the pioneers of Saturday morning television, has passed away at 84. According to the Los Angeles Times, the TV veteran passed away on Tuesday, after living with Parkinson’s disease.
Scheimer’s company was behind such classics as Fat Albert, He-Man and several cartoons set in the DC universe, all fondly remembered by 70s, 80s and even 90s kids. Scheimer was most notable for his company’s modus operandi, however. In the 80s, Filmation was the largest animation studio in the US, and, quite admirably, Scheimer was one of the few in the business, still refusing to export work overseas. However, this approach was not without its faults, as the studio’s cartoons were criticized by connoisseurs at large for lacking the fluidity of motion and the kind of artistry, seen in earlier animated pictures.
Scheimer defended the Filmation productions with the following statement, made in 1981 in an LA Times interview: "Given the demands of the network schedules, it's practically impossible to take all care and love we would like to on the technical aspects. We'd love to do theatrical shorts, and if you can find somebody to pay for them, let us know."
