One of the women was a guest star on Cosby’s sitcom in 1992.
Two more women have come forward with accusations against Bill Cosby, including one actress who appeared as a guest star on his long running sitcom ‘The Cosby Show’. The women went public with their accusations on Friday, at a press conference with attorney Gloria Allred in New York.
Arounnd 40 women have made accusations against Cosby.
Actress Lili Bernard appeared in an episode of the final season of 'The Cosby Show' in 1992 playing the ‘zany and pregnant’ Mrs Minifield. At the press conference Allred, who is representing many of Cosby’s alleged victims, accused Cosby of raping Bernard in New Jersey, a state that does not have a statute of limitations on rape, according to the Huffington Post.
New Jersey’s statute of limitations on rape mean that Cosby could possibly be charged for the crime if a prosecutor where to find sufficient evidence.
Bernard also reportedly claims that after the attack Cosby told her, “As far as I’m concerned, Bernard, you’re dead. Do you hear me? You’re dead, Bernard. You don’t exist, I never wanna see your face again. Now get the hell out of here!” The actress added she interpreted that as a death threat and feared for her life.
The other woman, Sammie Mays was working as a writer when she met Cosby in the mid-80s and asked to interview him. At the press conference she said she went to Cosby's hotel room to talk where he mixed a drink for her. After taking the drink Mays then claims she woke covered in drool and noticed her bra had ben pushed to the side.
The current number of women who have made allegations against the 77 year old is said to be around 40. Cosby has always denied all allegations against him and has never been charged in connection with any of the claims.
