Veteran Actor Bill Murray Joined Hundreds Of Literary Fans To Walk Across The Brooklyn Bridge In New York City On Monday (08jun15) As Part Of An Annual Tradition For The City's Poets House Organisation.
The Ghostbusters star, 64, has been involved with the non-profit for some time and this year (15), he decided to join in the trek to mark its 20th anniversary.
The walk is inspired by Walt Whitman's poem Crossing the Brooklyn Ferry, about one man's journey from Manhattan to Brooklyn at the end of his working day, and traditionally ends with a reading of the 19th century piece.
Discussing the poignant reading at the event, Murray told the New York Daily News, "It's beautiful to read with all of it happening right in front of your eyes."
