The Rolling Stones star's tell-all book was released in 2010 and became a bestseller, featuring the guitarist's recollections of the band's early days, their excesses on the road, and the crazy scenes of their 1970s heyday.

However, bassist Wyman - who quit the band following its 1989-'90 world tour - has now revealed he believes at least half of the book is exaggerated or simply not true.

He tells Mojo magazine, "Never let the truth spoil a good story! I believe about half of it - and that's pushing it!"
