Billie Eilish gave another standout performance at the 63rd Grammy Awards in LA when she sang her award winning track, 'everything i wanted'. The nineteen year old "voice of a generation" was on stunning form as she performed her single at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles in front of a limited, socially distanced audience.
Eilish was somewhat of a surprise winner on the evening beating off stiff competition from Beyonce with 'Black Parade', Black Pumas with 'Colors', Da Baby ft. Roddy Ricch with 'Rockstar', Doja Cat with her huge hit 'Say So' and stellar duo Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce with 'Savage', among others. Eilish also made history on the night by becoming the first artist to collect the coveted prize for Record Of The Year two years in a row.
Billie collected another Grammy at the prestigious awards ceremony for 'No Time To Die [From No Time To Die]' in the Best Song Written For Visual Media category bringing her win tally to seven from her ten nominations. Not a bad haul for an artist yet to turn 20! Eilish, who has also recently been the subject of an Apple TV documentary, 'The World's a Little Blurry', celebrated days later by changing her signature green hair. Billie died her hair peroxide blonde following her Grammy wins and subsequently took to Instagram to share her new look with fans.
As is the norm with Billie Eilish that news also broke a record, with her latest pic, with the captions 'Blonde' and 'Bye Green', achieving an incredible one million likes in just six short minutes. Billie's Grammy performance atop the car on the stage could be the last time we get to see her green hair ever again, who knows?
