The Black Keys should’ve been pleased as punch after winning four awards at the Grammys last night (February 10, 2013), but for drummer Patrick Carney he seemed to just be relieved that it was all over as he was interviewed by press leaving the Los Angeles-based music showcase.

The blues rockers took home best song and best rock performance for ‘Lonely Boy’, whilst their album ‘El Camino’ won them best rock album  as Dan Auerbach took producer of the year in the non-classical category. Joy unconfined right? Not really. Carney was asked his highlight of the awards, only to reply “that they’re done I guess.” That wasn’t the jubilant response the press were expecting. They also, for some reason, decided to ask him about whether Justin Bieber was right to feel snubbed. “He’s rich, right?” came Carney’s response. Expanding on his point, the stick man said "Grammys are for like music, not for money ... and he's making a lot of money. He should be happy."

He’s got a good point there, awards are, after all, voted for by a panel of people, it’s opinion not fact. What is fact, however, is that Bieber is one of the most commercially successful artists of recent times. So, he doesn’t have a lot to grumble about really, does he?
