Black Sabbath aren't letting Ozzy Osbourne's relapse nightmare get in the way of their North American touring plans - the trio has just announced a 20-date trek.

Following the overwhelming response to the initial announcement of just four tour dates, Osbourne and bandmates Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have confirmed a full-scale tour, which will kick off in Houston, Texas on 25 July (13).

The tour will include shows in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Boston, Massachusetts, Chicago, Illinois and San Francisco, California, as well as the previously announced stops in New Jersey, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington and Toronto, Canada.

The shows will come in the middle of a planned world tour, which recently kicked off in Australia. The band will also headline the first-ever Ozzfest in Japan next month (12May13).

Black Sabbath are touring to support their comeback album, 13, which will be released in June (13).

Osbourne recently hit the headlines when it was revealed he suffered a setback in his sobriety and had started taking prescription pills and drinking alcohol.
