Fact: Ozzy Osbourne cancelled his appearance at the Nordoff Robins O2 Silver Clef awards on Friday (04Jul14) so he could prepare for Black Sabbath's headline slot at British Summertime in London's Hyde Park that night. His bandmates accepted the AEG Live Ambassadors of Rock Award in his absence.

Fact: Black Sabbath, Soundgarden and Motorhead are set to team up to rock the centre of London this summer (Jul14) as part of a 10-day festival at Hyde Park. The historic venue's British Summer Time festival will kick off with a heavy rock spectacular on 4 July (14), which will also feature Faith No More and and Wolfmother.

Fact: Reunited rockers Black Sabbath have added four North American dates to their 2013 world tour plans. The group, fronted by Ozzy Osbourne, will play shows in Holmdel, New Jersey; Los Angeles; Seattle, Washington, D.C. and Toronto, Canada in August and September (13).

Fact: Ozzy Osbourne and his Black Sabbath bandmates will premiere new track End Of The Beginning during the season finale of Tv drama Csi: Crime Scene Investigation. The reunited rockers will make a cameo appearance on the show, which will air in the U.S. on 15 May (13), and perform the track as part of a Tv concert.

Fact: Drummers including former GUNS N' ROSES star STEVEN ADLER and Black Sabbath's Vinny Appice have signed up to take part in a tribute performance to late Led Zeppelin percussionist John Bonham. The fourth annual event, now titled Bonzo Bash Namm Jamm 2013, will take place at the Observatory in Anaheim, California in January (13).

Fact: Tool, Slash and the Deftones will join Black Sabbath and Slipknot at Japan's first Ozzfest next year (13). Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor will be on double duty at the Makuhari Messe event - his band Stone Sour will also be performing. Ozzfest Japan will take place over a weekend next May (13).
