Ryan Reynolds became a father in December of last year. With broken sleep, it’s a difficult time physically for any new parent but Reynolds also had to contend with an emotional blow when he discovered his childhood friend was trying to make a quick buck by shopping pictures of his new-born daughter to media outlets.

First time father Ryan Reynolds has been talking about how surprised he is that he and his wife Blake Lively have been dealing with parenthood without the help of a nanny. In a new interview with GQ magazine, the Self/Less star has spoken about his “weirdly endless supply of patience” at night-time baby duties.

It’s been nine months since he and his wife welcomed their daughter James into the world, but the gruelling regime of night-time feedings hasn’t gotten the better of him yet. “I have no problem waking up five times in the middle of the night and changing diapers, and as exhausted as you get, I have this stupid grin on my face all the time,” he said.

Blake Lively, the 28-year-old Age of Adaline actor and wife of Ryan Reynolds, wasn’t mocking Taylor Swift with her recent Instagram post. Lively posted a picture in which she joked – as she later clarified in good humour – about being part of a music video for John Legend’s cover of Swift single ‘Bad Blood’.

Lively is currently filming on location in Thailand and has taken her eight-month-old daughter, James, along with her.

Actress and singer Leighton Meester has announced that she’s expecting her first baby with husband Adam Brody.

The 29 year old former ‘Gossip Girl’ star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon with her actor husband Brody (35) and displaying a prominent baby bump. Entertainment website Popsugar was the first to get the pictures, and E! News has confirmed it.

Ryan Reynolds has shared the first photograph of his daughter James. There's not much to see as the photograph is of baby James' tiny hand wrapped around Reynolds' thumb. Reynolds, in his typical fashion, jokingly captioned the photograph: 'Thumb wrestling isn't always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one.'

This is Lively's first film in three years, after taking a break to marry Ryan Reynolds and give birth to their daughter James, now 4 months old.

"After I wrapped 'Gossip Girl' I took about a year off because I was just tired." she says. "We worked 10 months a year, 16 to 18 hours a day. So I just wanted a break. I read a bunch of scripts and there were a few movies that I liked, but this is the first one that I thought, 'I can't not do this movie.' So I talked my way into it!"
