Blake Lively has a mini hair salon in her car.

According to the 'Age of Adaline' star's hairdresser, Rod Ortega - whom Blake recently described as a ''magician'' - the pair have set up a beauty station in the back of her car to help her get ready on the go.

The stylist uses cordless curlers to restyle the blonde beauty's tresses in between appearances and even has a special bag full of tools which can be used during transit.

Describing how he set up his work station in Blake's car, Rod said: ''I've done hair everywhere: in a closet, on a plane. It's just from practice.

''I have a canvas J.Crew bag, it's my go-to because it lays flat, so you can lay out hot [tools] and combs.''

In addition to using L'Oréal Paris' Elnett hairspray and a T3 Wand to get the 27-year-old actress' hair ''full and thick'', Rod relies on his extensive knowledge of trends and retro hairstyles to ensure he can create the perfect look.

He told PEOPLE: ''I am constantly researching what [people] wore in the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s and 60s. It helps me when I have to think very quickly on the spot.''
