Blake Lively is a "homebody" who hates going out.

The 'Gossip Girl' actress - who recently split from her co-star Penn Badgley - is not interested in living a celebrity lifestyle and would only go to a nightclub to see a band or if she has a work event to attend.

She told the Australian edition of Cosmopolitan magazine: "I'm much more of a homebody than a person who goes out.

"I don't think I've ever been to a club other than to see a band or if the 'Gossip Girl' producers are throwing an after-party specifically for us to go to, or the red carpet.

'But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don't really find it that fun. I like to go and listen to live music and stuff, so that's when I'll go out."

The 23-year-old star has a wide variety of interests besides partying, she loves to explore New York City where her TV show is filmed and says she adores "going to Central Park and watching movies."

Blake also revealed her hidden cooking talents and said she makes an "amazing Dutch apple pancake".
