Blake Lively spent her summer (11) brushing up on her language skills by enrolling in French classes.
The Gossip Girl star was renting an apartment in the South of France with her then-boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio and decided to take a month-long French course to improve her communication.
She tells Elle magazine, "I was in school every single day! I'd get off, and, you know, we'd go on a boat in my harbour in my little village, and there'd be people hiding in a bush. Then people said, 'There's photos of you coming out of some hotel.' I was on a school field trip!"
The actress has kept coy about her romance with DiCaprio, who she was often snapped with, but admits he joined her on the excursion, adding, "My friend at the time joined the school field trip, and we were walking down the street (when we were photographed)."
