Nick Gordon has been found legally responsible in the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Bobbi Kristina died in July 2015, at the age of 22, after spending six months in a medically-induced coma after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

Gordon failed to turn up on Friday for his scheduled hearing in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by Brown's estate last year. According to People magazine, because of Gordon’s failure to attend Fulton County Superior Court Judge T. Jackson Bedford said that anything alleged by the plaintiff is now admitted through omission.

Bobby Brown believes that he and his ex-wife Whitney Houston failed their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, saying that both of them could have “been better” in a new interview nearly one year after his daughter’s tragic passing.

Bobbi Kristina Brown died in July 2015 at the age of 22, having never woken up from a coma since January 31st when she was found unresponsive and unconscious in her bathtub. The Fulton County Medical Examiner later found marijuana, alcohol, sedatives, anti-anxiety medications, morphine and what was described as a “cocaine-related substance” after a toxicology test.

More than half a year since her death, Nick Gordon has opened up about the passing of his late girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown – and spoke about her drug use leading up to the fateful bathtub incident in January last year.

In an episode of ‘Dr. Phil’ due to be broadcast later this week, Gordon revealed to the host how Bobbi Kristina’s life seemed to spiral downwards after the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, three years previously, and that her use of drugs “got really bad” from that point onwards.

The results of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown’s autopsy could be released later today, after a judge in Georgia ordered that the documents be publicly unsealed.

Prosecutors had opposed such an order on the grounds that it could compromise an ongoing criminal investigation into Bobbi Kristina’s death. Last August, the conservator of her estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit pointing the responsibility at Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, for “injecting” her with a “toxic mixture”, an allegation that Gordon denies as “meritless and slanderous”.

Some members of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s extended family have been banned from visiting her in her hospice. An unknown number of relatives on her father Bobby Brown’s side have been barred from seeing her in what is suspected to be her final days. Their ban follows reports a relative attempted to hawk a photograph of 22-year-old Bobbi, who is currently in a comatose state, to a number of media outlets.

Singer Bobby Brown told a crowd during a concert on Saturday that his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is "awake," after spending nearly three months in a coma. Brown was performing the concert at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas, where he was filmed by fans making the announcement.

Brown has reportedly said his daughter is now “awake.”

According to TMZ, Brown told the audience "Bobbi is awake, She's watching me,” after which the crowd cheered. But despite the singer’s comments it remains unclear if 22 year old Bobbi is actually awake and out of her coma.

Bobby Brown made an emotional appearance at the L.A. soul food festival on Saturday, where he spoke publicly for the first time about his daughter’s hospitalisation. The former New Edition singer was giving his first performance since Bobbi Kristina was hospitalised on January 31st.

During his performance Brown told the audience, "I dunno what the hell I am going through right now, but I am giving it to God and letting him deal with it.”

While Bobby Kristina Brown continues to fight for her life, her husband Nick Gordon may be under suspicion, according to some very severe accusations made by his wife's sister, Leolah. According to People magazine, Leolah has issued an open letter, addressed at Doctor Phil, in which she requests that the talk show host deny Gordon the platform to "spin this situation to his benefit."

Leolah Brown suggests that Brown and Gordon's marital bliss may have been a front for something else.

Gordon was the one to discover Bobbi Kristina found Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston's daughter facedown and unresponsive in their Atlanta, Ga., bathtub in late January. Since then, Gordon has issued several Twitter rants against the R&B singer and his family. He also hasn't visited has not visited his wife's bedside at Emory University Hospital in weeks. Last month, Brown's lawyer released a statement to Us Weekly claiming that Gordon isn't explaining what happened to Bobbi Kristina.

Following nearly a month in a critical condition in hospital, Bobbi Kristina Brown’s doctors on Wednesday reportedly attempted to take her out of a medically induced coma for the second time. However, the attempt ended in disappointment as the 21 year old began suffering seizures in response, and the process was reversed.

A family source told People magazine on Wednesday (February 25th) that doctors would be weaning her off the medication used to keep her in her medically induced state, although she would remain on life support.

Bobbi Kristina Brown has some injuries which need to be explained, according to sources working closely with police investigators in Atlanta. The 21-year-old daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a bathtub in her Atlanta home on 31st January. She was reportedly found, by Gordon and a friend, face down in a tub of water. Initial reports suggested it was a medical incident, i.e. not drug or alcohol related, but some questions have been raised concerning how she sustained her alleged and unspecified injuries, according to sources speaking to CNN. Investigators are reportedly looking to Brown's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, for an explanation.

Update: Bobbi Kristina Brown’s condition is improving, after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub on Saturday. According to USA Today, her current condition is unknown, after she was rushed to the North Fulton Hospital in Roswell.

Bobbi Kristina's condition is as of yet unclear.

"Her husband and a friend located her in a bath tub this morning and she was unresponsive," the Roswell Police Department’s statement read. "He started CPR and a police officer took over lifesaving measures until an ambulance arrived. She was transported to the hospital. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."

Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown has been hospitalized after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home. A few days ahead of the singer’s death anniversary, Brown was found by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend, in a similar fashion to her mother, whose body was discovered in a bathtub in 2012.

Bobbi Kristina Brown was found under circumstances, eerily similar to her mother.

Gordon and his companion attempted to resuscitate Brown before the paramedics arrived. Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland described the situation: "They called 911, started CPR on her, and police arrived first. We took over the lifesaving measures until the fire/rescue and an ambulance arrived. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers."

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, may well have married her fiancé Nick Gordon in a secret ceremony. 20-year-old Brown tweeted on Thursday (9th January) a picture of her and her new husband's wedding rings with their hands overlapping, adding the caption "happily married." She tagged Gordon in her post and added "So in love. If you didn't get it the first time that is."

Like his ex-fiancée Bobbi Kristina Brown, Nick Gordon's had a pretty terrible week. Their engagement was broken off, as yet we're unsure by whom (although we think Nick Gordon broke the deal), and they've both had motor-vehicle problems. Bobbi had a crash that looks pretty bad on the car, but from which she emerged completely unscathed, and now as ABC reports Nick has been caught speeding, doing 82mph in a 35 zone! 

In the mugshot of Gordon he looks unusually happy- well, unusual for a mugshot anyway. He'd been caught driving a grey Chevy Camaro and was driving at high speed in a highly populated area, full of pedestrians and other vehicles on the road, in a strongly retail area, which sounds probably the worst place possible to go too fast. No drugs or alcohol have been mentioned in relation to the incident. As yet there has been no one available to make a comment on behalf of Nick, but E! reports George Gordon, executive officer of the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety saying that officers took the 23-year-old into custody and cited him for reckless driving and speeding. 

While we said that Bobbi's had a week of lucky escapes, having apparently evaded any kind of injuries from her crash, it seems that Gordon hasn't been quite as lucky.

Just days after her second car crash in a month, Bobbi Kristina Brown has made a series of cryptic tweets, suggesting that she and Nick Gordon are no longer a couple. This comes after weeks of speculation that the couple were engaged, after Bobbi was caught flashing a ring on her left hand.

On her Twitter page, Bobbi Kristina said “Who do I trust in this world? Pfft well that's easy beezie, #Myself, No1 will kno's me like ME&They'd rather not take thtchance2knoME, &2me.” According to New York Daily News, she also posted a message that read “I guess it's time 4me2stop depending on anymore. It's my time2follow what Mom&The Lord put out on this path for me.#Thankful. Mom xxo” though that message is no longer visible on her profile. Add to that, Nick Gordon’s own Twitter message which cut to the chase a little more – “@REALbkBrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been” – and it looks as though that particular relationship, which was starting to look a little like a car crash, is no longer one to watch.

Talking of car crashes, Bobbi Kristina was involved in her second car crash in matter of weeks, when she lost control if her car, driving away from her apartment in Alpharetta, Georgia. She was uninjured in the incident but we can’t say the same for the Chevy Camaro.

Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon's relationship has been controversial to say the least, considering that they're lawful family members. Brown is, of course, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, while Gordon was adopted.

To further exacerbate the situation, they're appearing on Lifetime series, "The Houstons", which documents Houston's family lives for everyone's perusal. It was on Twitter, though, that rumours of their breakup surfaced. "@REALbkBrown and I are not engaged or dating. Just close like we have always been," Gordon wrote on the social media site, while Brown posted, "I guess it's time 4me2stop depending on anymore. It's my time2follow what Mom&The Lord put out on this path for me.#Thankful. Mom xxo," on Monday. ""Who do I trust in this world? An executive producer for their reality show, with marketing on his or her mind, interjected with a request: "@nickgordon @realbkbrown watch to see how it all unfolds on #TheHoustons on @lifetimetv.

The second bit of news - and it's only second because no one got hurt - is that Brown was involved in a frightening car crash while leaving her apartment in Alpharetta, Georgia, after allegedly losing control of the car while making a left turn, The New York Daily News reported. Brown left the scene uninjured, and no drugs or alcohol are suspected in the accident. "My#PersonalGuardianAngel** thankumom*miss&loveumre u'lleverkno. NotAScratch&ok *** Wow,PraiseGod. @nickdgordon ***#SeriousChangeswithinME," she wrote shortly after the accident, thanking her mother for watching over her. 

The daughter of the late Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina, is to receive $20m from her mother's estate, after reaching the end of a complicated legal battle, Entertainmentwise reports.

Kristina was entangled in legal complications with her grandmother Cissy Houston and her aunt Pat after they attempted to put a stop to the original payment schedule, claiming those close to Bobbi would take advantage of her fortune, but reports suggest that those issues have been resolved, and the young star is set for a windfall. She will receive the money in three segments, more specifically, she can expect three large payments: the first 10 per cent when she turns 21, nearly 20 per cent when she turns 25 and the rest when she hits 30. It was, in fact, revealed soon after Houston's sudden death in February at the age of 48, that Bobbi was the sole beneficiary to her estate.

Currently starring in The Houstons: On Our Own; the show that follows her family around, Bobby is engaged to Nick Gordon, who Whitney took in as a son when he was 12. The pair have had to deny the accusations of wrongdoing, with Nik saying, "Everyone gets it wrong, I was never officially ... it's not incest." But family relatives are not convinced."How do you go from being a brother to being a boyfriend?" Houston's brother Gary says on the reality TV show. "It's a crazy concept."

Fears surrounding the health and well being of the late Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, after her mother's death, have been loudly vocalised by her family, particularly aunt Pat and grandmother Cissy. Undoubtedly, the fears arise in the light of Houston's difficulty with drugs and her premature death, earlier this year.

In response to their concerns, Pat and Cissy chose to go ahead with court proceedings in an attempt to stop Bobbi Kristina from getting her hands on the massive $20m inheritance left to her by her mother. Grandmother, Cissy Houston is 'deathly afraid'- according to TMZ- that Bobbi Kristina will meet the same tragic end as her mother. The case filed by Cissy and Pat is not to remove the inheritance from Whitney's only daughter, but rather to rearrange the schedule by which it is given to her. It has now been made clear that the court has dismissed the case, as Cissy backs out, and Bobbi will receive the money as was stated in the will. That is, she will receive an estimated $2m at the age of 21, $4m when she turns 25, and the final instalment of $14m at 30. No matter when she gets it, it's a helluva lot of money. 

Bobbi's engagement to her step-brother Nick Gordon has also raised eyebrows, particularly in her family, few of whom are taking it very seriously. Having lost her mother at the age of 18 everyone expected her to run off the rails a little bit, but so far she's doing really well, and she agrees, as she told Access Hollywood, "I'm doing better than I ever thought I would." Whether that's because her family are keeping close tabs on her, or whether her mother has endowed her with good sense doesn't matter, we simply hope she continues doing well- learning all the right lessons from her late mother.

The Houstons: On Our Own premiered on US TV yesterday (October 24, 2012) and the general consensus seems to be that this simply isn’t a show that needed to be made right now.

Whitney Houston only passed away in February, yet already, the cameras are rolling inside the Houston family home, where her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, her mother, Cissy Houston and her brother Gary are all mourning her death and dealing with the media attention that has swamped their family like never before.

19 year-old Bobbi had been asked countless times in the past whether her controversial love affair was fact or fiction and the teenager had rebuffed the claims on numerous occasions, insisting that they weren’t true. Now it seems that the claims were not only true, but also that the two may have been pretty serious about their relationship.

Bobbi originally denied reports of the engagement, after she was shot with a stunning diamond and sapphire ring on her ring finger, but in the trailer for the show she's seen 'professing her love' for Nick Gordon as the Huffington Post puts it.

Gary and Patricia Houston are also seen in the trailer, both of whom are shocked and outraged. Patricia, Whitney's sister in law and manager, said “Engagement? This is unacceptable.” While Gary, clearly bemused said "No one knew that from a godson that you would turn into a boyfriend... No one knew that."

It's been something of a hot topic for the Houston family in recent weeks, and now all could be revealed; is Bobbi Kristina Brown really engaged to her childhood friend Nick Gordon? Aged just 18, Brown caused a shock when, in the wake of her mother Whitney Houston's death, she was seeing kissing and canoodling with Gordon. The pair have since formed a relationship and there are rumours that they're planning to get married.

Now a clip previewing the forthcoming reality show 'The Houstons: On Our Own' shows Brown flashing a sapphire rock that once belonged to her mother, standing next to Gordon and telling her family "we're engaged." So what's the big deal about all this? Well, although not related by blood, Gordon was taken in by the Houston family when Brown was extremely young, and the pair of them have grown up, in effect, as brother and sister together.

This change of affairs that's come out during an extremely tough year for the family, hasn't gone down well with many of Brown's relatives at all. "A lot of teenagers, when they hit 18, they think they're grown," her aunt Pat Houston told ABCNews.com. "They think they know it all, they think they know about relationships. You just have to be there to navigate and guide them." She added, "You have to hope that their feelings will not get hurt, but they will."

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a nasty car accident with her boyfriend Nick Gordon. Whitney Houston’s daughter was allegedly having an argument with her beau when he was driving their black 2012 Camaro, TMZ reported today (September 26, 2012).

The details of the incident are sketchy so far but the photos obtained by TMZ show the vehicle looking pretty smashed up. There are no current reports of either Bobbi Kristina or Nick being hurt; the airbags were deployed and it seems that he somehow managed to drive the car back to their shared apartment in its damaged state.

The accident happened in Alphretta, Georgia, on Sunday night (September 23, 2012) and no other vehicle is thought to have been involved. The bumper of the car appears to have been torn right off, the front right tire is missing and the wheel badly damaged. The photos do not show the left hand side of the vehicle, so it’s unclear if any damage was done to the driver’s side as well.
