Bobbi Kristina is said to be coping well, following her mother, Whitney Houston's funeral service on February 18, 2012. A source close to Bobbi's family has told People magazine that the 18 year-old, with her own talent for singing has been showing encouraging signs of improvement as each day goes by. The source told reporters "She's doing okay," says a source close to the family. "She's still obviously got a lot to deal with but she's doing a little better each day, and being back home in Atlanta seems to be a good thing."
Bobbi Kristina Brown was with her mother in Los Angeles when she passed away unexpectedly on February 11, 2012. After learning of her mother's death, Bobbi Kristina was rushed to hospital, after reportedly suffering from panic attacks. Her father, Bobby Brown (Whitney's ex-husband) cancelled a show with his band New Edition to fly to LA and comfort his daughter. People magazine also caught up with Bobbi Kristina's former hairstylist, Ellin LaVar, who told them "She is a strong girl. I think with support she will make it through this."
However, other reports, in the wake of Whitney's death, have suggested that Bobbi Kristina is in danger of replicating her parents' former drug addiction issues. US magazine published a story on February 22, 2012 that suggested her friends were urging her to enter a rehab centre, as she had turned to drugs for comfort following her mother's untimely death.
