Gordon hit the headlines over the summer (15) after he was slapped with a multi-million dollar lawsuit by Bobbi Kristina Brown's court-appointed co-conservator, Bedelia Hargrove.
Filed after Brown's death in July (15), Hargrove's suit suggests Gordon gave his girlfriend a "toxic cocktail" which rendered her unconscious on the night of 31 January (15), when the aspiring singer and actress was found unresponsive and face down in a bathtub at the home she shared with her boyfriend in Georgia.
Bobby's only child from his marriage to Whitney Houston died six months later after failing to wake from a medically induced coma.
Gordon's attorney Jose Baez hit back at the "unsupported conclusory, untrue, criminal accusations" in court papers earlier this month (Sep15), and requested the "slanderous and meritless" case be thrown out of court.
However, Gordon has reportedly since decided to withdraw the motion and now Brown and his family are looking forward to having their day in court.
Bobby Brown's attorney, Christopher Brown, released a damning statement on Monday (28Sep15), openly accusing Gordon of causing the 22 year old's death.
The press release reads: "In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon."
The lawyer goes on to reveal Gordon tried to take legal action against the family, but had a change of heart after he was ordered to give evidence.
Bobbi Kristina's father is now hoping the authorities involved in the ongoing investigation of his daughter's death will move to file charges against Gordon, after medical examiners completed a thorough autopsy last week (ends25Sep15). The results have been sealed by court order and will not be made public.
Bobby adds, "I look forward to having the Court hear the evidence in the civil lawsuit and hopefully the criminal action very soon."
