Bon Iver have unveiled their third studio album '22, A Million' today featuring 10 tracks you'll barely be able to pronounce. The launch follows the initial release of three tracks from the record, and a performance of the album in full at a festival that Justin Vernon curated.

Bon IverBon Iver returns with their third album

'22, A Million' is the latest venture from this Wisconsin indie band, who first broke onto the scene in 2008 with their debut album 'For Emma, Forever Ago'. They have since gone on to win two Grammy awards for Best New Artist, and their second album landed them Best Alternative Music Album.

The album follows their last release 'Bon Iver, Bon Iver', which came out in 2011 and topped the US Alternative, Rock and Indie charts while reaching number two in the Billboard 200. To promote '22, A Million', they released three singles entitled '22 (OVER S88N)', '10 d E A T h b R E a s T' (featuring a sample from Stevie Nicks' 'Wild Heart') and '33 "GOD"' and they performed it for the first time at frontman Justin Vernon's own Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival in Wisconsin in August.

That will take place from October 1st to 2nd.

Then they will play a few shows in California including The Hollywood Bowl with Patti Smith and Hiss Golden Messenger, Orange County's Beach Goth Festival and a three-night residency at Oakland's Fox Theater with Francis & The Lights.
