Late Boyzone star Stephen Gately's brother is tackling a charity run in the singer's memory.
Tony Gately is preparing to race in the 6.2-mile (10-kilometre) Great Scottish Run to raise money for Cardiac Risk in the Young, and he's dedicating his efforts to the tragic star.
He says, "This charity is very close to my heart after losing my beloved brother Stephen in 2009 to an undiagnosed heart condition. Every week in the U.K. at least 12 young people die suddenly from undiagnosed heart conditions and every loss is a heartbreak."
Boyzone star Keith Duffy has taken to Twitter.com to encourage fans to sponsor Tony, writing, "Steo (Stephen) Gately's Baby Brother (is) making a difference, please support him!"
The Great Scottish Run will take place in Glasgow on 2 September (12).
