"Oh yeah I have pages, a bunch of pages," he told Collider of The Incredibles 2, "I had a lot of ideas for the originalIncredibles that I didn't get a chance to use, that I like. I have ideas that I wanted to pursue a little bit and there wasn't enough time in Incredibles. There are new ideas I have, and I think there are enough of those together to make an interesting movie. I'm just focusing on getting Tomorrowland out into the world and playing with the Incredibles sandbox again."

When pushed on whether he could confidently say The Incredibles 2 would be his next project, Bird said: "Yeah it feels like it to me, yeah."

That means Bird will begin working on the animated sequel before 1906, the crime-drama about a young man who discovers a series of secrets and lies that left San Francisco highly vulnerable to the fires that engulfed it in the aftermath of the historical earthquake. The movie is based on James Dalessandro's movie of the same name.

The Incredibles grossed over $600 million and won two Academy Awards.

"Frame for frame, The Incredibles is as good as any live action superhero film ever made, and often far more convincing," wrote Devin Faraci of CHUD in his review of the movie.
