Brandi Glanville has rescued a puppy from a homeless man.

The 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star - who lost her Chihuahua mix, Chica, last year - has revealed her assistant Shannon McCourt surprised her with the pet pooch, named Luna, earlier this week after the gentleman was unable to provide her with food any more.

Shannon took to Twitter to explain her gift, saying: ''The dog was starving, and the homeless man said he would rather it had a good home than the cold streets. He couldn't afford to feed her any longer, so I offered to take her.''

Brandi, 41, shared a photograph of the cute canine on her Twitter account, but it appears Luna hasn't settled in with her other dog Buddy just yet.

She wrote: ''This is Luna - Buddy hates her. She is so smart and sweet.''

The blonde beauty - who has sons Mason, nine, and Jake, six, with her former husband Eddie Cibrian - was left devastated last summer when Chica was allegedly snatch from her home in Bel Air and even offered a generous $10,000 reward for her return.

Just a week later, Brandi welcomed new dog, Chico, into her home while the search for Chica continued.
