WWE legend Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart has taken to social media to announce to his legions of fans that he is battling prostate cancer.
Hart, 58, posted a picture of himself on Instagram with his two grandchildren on Monday (February 1st) and wrote a moving caption next to it, announcing that he’ll be having surgery in the near future as the first step to hopefully conquering his condition.
“I've had a great lifelong dance and I'm a survivor of many hard battles. I now face my toughest battle. With hesitation and fear, I openly declare myself in my fight against prostate cancer. In the next few days, I will undergo surgery with the hope of defeating this nemesis once and for all.”
