The Queen rocker, an outspoken advocate for animal rights, backed the prohibition of fox hunting which was introduced in England and Wales in 2005.

The current law allows farmers to use a maximum of two dogs to flush out a mammal for pest control purposes, but Cameron is holding a free vote in Britain's Houses of Parliament next Thursday (16Jul15) to amend the Hunting Act so the dog limit is scrapped, which will make it harder for hunters to be prosecuted.

May tells Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, "This smashes the Hunting Act... they will be able to bring back the whole pack of dogs. This is to benefit people who want to pursue a sadistic bloodsport for fun."
