Three concertgoers suffered major burns on Sunday (24Feb13) after an audience member ignited a flare during a Bring Me The Horizon show in Australia.

The heavy metal rockers were performing at the Soundwave Festival in Sydney Olympic Park when an unidentified reveller let off a magnesium flare in a mosh pit.

As a result, three attendees were treated for severe burns, including one woman who was badly injured, and now police are examining footage of the incident to determine who was responsible.

Festival promoter AJ Maddah has warned the culprit he will do his upmost to discover their identity - in a series of posts on Twitter.com, he writes, "Dear piece of s**t who lit the flare in Bmth pit: Tonight you seriously burned and disfigured a young girl. I hope you f**king get yours. Poor little thing is really hurt. Massive awful burn on her forearm. I am devastated for her. If you see anyone with a lit flare please take their photo and tweet to me so I can hand to police.

"If anyone can correctly identify this son of a b**ch I will shower you with so much tickets, backstage and cash you wont know what to do. If we catch anyone w/ flares you'll not only be evicted/arrested, I'll dedicate every iota (ounce) of energy & money I can muster to ruin your life (sic)."

The investigation is ongoing.
