Iconic British brand Burberry were the awards' centre of attention after being bestowed with two of the evening's most prestigious awards: 'Menswear Designer of the Year' and 'Designer Brand of the Year.' The heavy win this year coincides with the brand bringing its menswear show to London after more than a decade in Milan, becoming one of fashion month's unmissable shows.

British model Edie Campbell was crowned 'Model of the Year' after a whirlwind 12 months appearing in Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Lanvin campaigns as well as her first Vogue cover shoot. The epitome of British cool, Edie dominated the SS14 catwalks, opening shows for Burberry, Saint Laurent and Louis Vuitton in London, New York and Paris.

Designer Christopher Kane picked up the highly coveted 'Womenswear Designer of the Year' which recognises its recipient for their instrumental influence upon the advancement of womens fashion. The innovative Kane has risen to prominence this year with two internationally acclaimed womenswear 'ready to wear' collections as well as a partnership deal secured with the Kering Group, a luxury brand group.
