Britney Spears performed a new song on her 'Femme Fatale' tour.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker sang '(Drop Dead) Beautiful' as she kicked off the 33-date tour at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California, last night (16.06.11), which featured support from 'Your Love' rapper Nicki Minaj.

Britney opened her 22-song set with 'Hold It Against Me', finishing with 'Toxic' and 'Till The World Ends' - and before the concert the singer posted a picture on twitter of her boyfriend Jason Trawick giving her a good luck hug.

After the show Britney was so excited by her energetic performance - which also saw her sing 'I'm a Slave 4 U' and 'Baby One More Time' - she struggled to get to sleep due to all the adrenaline she had built up.

She tweeted: "Can't sleep. WAY too much Adrenaline right now. Sacramento was on fire tonight. You ready San Jose?  Cause I am!!!! -Britney (sic)."

Nicki also took to twitter before her performance, replying to Britney's message questioning whether she was ready for the gig.

The 'Super Bass' singer-songwriter wrote: "Born Ready Brit! Time to give the kidz what they've been waitin for . FemmeFataleTour."
