Britney Spears is receiving a $5 million-a-year pay rise with her new Las Vegas deal.

The 33-year-old singer has extended her 'Britney: Piece of Me' residency - which was due to end later this year - at Planet Hollywood for another two years, and not only will she see her wage rise to $35 million-a-year, she will also be doing fewer shows.

And according to TMZ, Britney was given her pick at the concert dates she wants at the venue, leaving Jennifer Lopez - who starts her own Planet Hollywood concert series in January 2016 - to choose from what was left over.

Britney announced the news during her concert on Wednesday (09.09.15) and told E! News: ''I'm not ready to leave Vegas yet! And I just really really love this show and this city. I'm so proud of the show, and my band, my dancers and my crew have all become such a family to me. When it came down to me really having to make this decision, I just couldn't imagine ending my residency at the end of this year.''

While she is extending the show's run, the 'Toxic' singer revealed that fans can expect some changes to her shows.

She explained: ''I definitely have some major changes planned. I'm getting together with my team this week to go over the set list, design some new costumes and dream up new props.

''There are a few songs that that I really want to add to the show. It's very exciting! If you haven't seen the current show yet, you should come out before the end of the year.''
