Britney Spears says she's enjoying one of the ''best times'' of her life at the moment.

The pop superstar has just released her eighth studio album, 'Britney Jean', and is preparing for her two-year Las Vegas concert residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, which kicks off on December 27.

Britney gets to have her sons, Sean and Jayden, with her while she is in Vegas performing her 'Britney Spears: Piece of Me' show and she insists everything at the moment is just perfect.

In an interview on UK TV show 'Lorraine', she revealed: ''So far, I would have to say, this is probably one of the best times of my life ... It's always been my dream to come here (Las Vegas) and do a show. I just feel like it's ideal ... to have one place that you can go to with your children is really special.''

The 32-year-old singer - who is rehearsing for seven hours a day for the concerts - is particularly pleased with the final cut of her album, which was inspired in part by her split from her ex-fiancé Jason Trawick in January this year.

Britney - who is now in a relationship with David Lucado - hopes her personal lyrics will help any of her fans dealing with similar situations.

She mused: ''I had a break-up at the beginning of this year and I wanted to be able to share that with my fans so they wouldn't feel alone in aspects of their livelihood ... I wanted them to have something to listen to so that they don't feel alone.''
