'24K Magic' is pronounced 'twenty-four karat magic' and follows his last solo single 'Young Girls'. The multi-Grammy Award winning superstar said of the release: 'You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party'.

An what a party it is! There's a new music video accompanying the track, directed by Mars himself alongside his longtime collaborator Cameron Duddy who has worked with the singer on previous videos such as 'Uptown Funk', 'Gorilla', 'When I Was Your Man' and 'Locked Out Of Heaven'. Blending futuristic and disco elements, it features a lot of scantily clad women and hotels, and a jet-ski party on the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas.

If we are lucky, we may even be treated to a live performance of the new track soon with Mars set to appear on 'Saturday Night Live' on October 15th. It marks his fifth appearance on the show and fourth time as a musical guest, his last being in 2014 with Mark Ronson. He's also due to perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut today (October 7th 2016).

The new album follows 'Unorthodox Jukebox', which came out in 2012 and topped charts in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Since then he's featured on a couple of other artists' songs, Major Lazer's 'Bubble Butt' with Tyga and Mystic and Mark Ronson's smash hit 'Uptown Funk'.

'24K Magic' will be released on November 18th 2016 via Atlantic Records.
