Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston tricked fans attending the Comic-Con event in San Diego, California on Sunday (21Jul13) by walking around wearing his own mask.

The actor, who portrays chemistry teacher-turned-ruthless drug boss Walter White on the show, was at the comic book convention to promote the upcoming episodes in the final fifth season of the Tv drama, but he decided to have a little fun with devotees by going 'undercover' to mingle with the general public ahead of the Breaking Bad panel discussion.

Cranston got away with his prank by disguising his voice and speaking in a higher tone, but he came clean about the joke as he sat down with his co-stars Aaron Paul, Anna Gunn, RJ Mitte, Dean Norris and Bob Odenkirk and creator Vince Gilligan to discuss the programme in the fabled Hall H of the San Diego Convention Center later that afternoon.

He continued to joke around with the Walter White mask by placing it on the table during the panel session and answering some questions through the mask, prompting Paul to reveal, "(Cranston is) the most professional person I've ever worked with but also the (most) immature man I've ever experienced, as you can tell. Which is a beautiful combination."
