Bryan Ferry was always known to be a bit of a ladies man back at the height of his Roxy Music fame in the 1970s, but who knew he was capable of ensnaring the likes of Amanda Sheppard as he strolls into his 67th year?

That's exactly what's happened as Ferry married the 29 year-old on January 4th 2012, with the pair getting hitched at a private ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands. The UK's Daily Telegraph newspaper reports that the bride was wearing a white dress by Lanvin with the groom wearing a dark blue suit by Anderson & Sheppard. The pair met back in 2009 after Ferry was introduced to Sheppard by, somewhat bizarrely, one of his sons. The musician has four boys Merlin, Tara, Isaac and Otis from his previous marriage of 21 years to Lucy Helmore whom he divorced in 2003 - she herself was notably younger than the star, 14 years his junior when they married in 1982.

Commenting on the age difference between he and his new wife, Ferry told the Mail on Sunday, "You never meet people your own age who aren't married. Unless they are divorcees knocking about, that sort of thing." Perhaps Ferry's most publicised relationship was with someone he never married, dating Jerry Hall in the 70s before she sensationally left him for MICK JAGGER.
