The cast and crew of 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' talk about time travel, character resurrection and seventies attire in a Q & A session at Comic-Con in San Diego. Among them are director Bryan Singer, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence.

Hugh makes it clear in a hilarious way who is favourite character is aside from his own, while Patrick laments the death of Xavier. 'It's in the spirit of the comics, isn't it? The comics go forward and back, they change the history, you're never quite sure where you are, they change the look of the characters', says Ian. 'There is a science-fiction aspect to it as well, there's technologies, there's the sentinel program', adds Bryan. 'The time travel and the science-fiction elements are things that haven't been explored in X-Men films in the past so that also made it a challenge and fun and unique.' On their old-fashioned outfits, Jennifer admits she didn't get to wear them as much as she'd have liked. 'The moments that I do get to wear the seventies clothes I really enjoy them 'cause I like that time and I like wearing clothes when I can', she explains.
