BpopLive, which is endorsed by members of the Leave.EU campaign who want British politicians to pull the country out of the European Union, originally featured drum and bass act Sigma and UK garage duo DJ Luck and MC Neat among the headliners when the gig was first announced, but the politics behind the show forced them to cancel.

A second planned show was to feature singer Alesha Dixon, 5ive, Sister Sledge and East 17 - but they also withdrew when they realised the concert was more rally than gig.

But now pop veterans Cheryl Baker, Jay Aston and Mike Nolan of Bucks Fizz will headline the show with an Elvis Presley impersonator.

The 'Brexit' event will take place at Birmingham’s Genting Arena on 19 June (16), four days before the EU referendum.
