Rapper Busta Rhymes left fans in South Africa fuming on Sunday (29Nov09) when he switched venues for a concert at the last minute - after showing up hours late.
The Touch It star, real name Trevor Smith, was expected to headline the Bay Summer Concert at the new Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.
But he failed to arrive in time for his scheduled set - and when he finally did turn up, Rhymes took to the stage only to announce he was moving the show to another, smaller venue, reports local paper the Weekend Post.
Rhymes allegedly told the crowd, "We're getting ready to go to La Dee Da's. That's where we're gonna have the show at. So, all of you people up there, go to La Dee Da's, that's where we're gonna perform at."
Ticket holders for the original show were allowed into the Port Elizabeth club for free for Rhymes' concert, but only an estimated 500 of the 2,300 fans who had congregated at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium showed up for the set.
