Bruce Jenner’s recent struggles with body image and gender identity have been a big topic in the media for some years now. On February 2nd, People Magazine reported that he is officially announced his transition. So does that mean that the less-than-nice jabs at Jenner’s changing appearance will stop? Unlikely.

Bruce Jenner isyet to officially go public with his transition.

At the very least, however, Bruce has a close-knit support network of family and friends. According to People, an anonymous “source” said about Jenner’s transition: "The number one thing is they all support Bruce. Kris [Jenner] has been great and anything that says the opposite just isn't true. It's really a hard adjustment for her and a shock but she 100% supports him – the whole family does."

Other unidentified sources allegedly confirmed to PEOPLE on Friday that Jenner, 65, has been preparing to live life as female.

"Bruce is transitioning to a woman," a source close to the family said. "He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing. He's in such a great space. That's why it's the perfect time to do something like this."

We’ve known for a couple days now that Kim Kardashian in particular is aware and very supportive of her stepdad’s journey. She hinted at his personal change during an interview with ET that aired last Monday.

"I think everyone goes through things in life, and I think that story and what Bruce is going through, I think he'll share whenever the time is right," she said at the time.
