The final steps of Jenner's transition will be documented in an E! series.
So, yes, Bruce Jenner is transitioning into a fully, hormonally female body, is just one of the things we learned from his Diane Sawyer interview. Of course, he is a Jenner, so you probs wouldn’t be surprised to learn that his journey will be documented via reality TV. But really, that’s neither the most important, nor the most interesting reveal to come out of his interview.
Bruce Believes he and Kris Jenner would still be together, if she had been fine with his trans identity.
Mr. Jenner was completely open and honest about his journey, which, he recalls, started in early childhood, when he would secretly try on his mother’s dresses.
nd at that time, I didn't know why I was doing it, besides it just made me feel good," the 65-year-old said. He would also sneak out in her clothes. "I would put a scarf over my head because my hair was short."
Through the years, Jenner’s three ex-wives were aware of his cross-dressing to varying degrees. The former Olympian began transitioning in the 80s, but his coming out has been a long, slow and emotional process.
In time, Jenner - who said he's a Republican and Christian - will next reintroduce himself to society as a woman. "I'm saying goodbye to people's perception of me and who I am," he said. "I'm not saying goodbye to me because this has always been me." Sawyer also noted that the star did express interest to do another interview next year.
So we should all probably start using feminine pronouns now, right?
