Caitlyn Jenner had her beard removed in the '80s.

The 'I Am Cait' star, 65 - who was known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition - has revealed she had laser treatment 30 years ago to zap off unwanted facial hair.

Speaking in a WhoSay video, Caitlyn explained: '[My skin certainly has changed] since my transition.

''I had, back in the '80s, my beard removed, which actually took a lot of volume out of [my chin] area. That has gotten better throughout the years.''

Caitlyn has undergone a number of plastic surgery procedures - including a boob job, a rhinoplasty, a brow lift and a tracheal shave - as part of her gender transition.

The brunette star unveiled her new identity on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine in June and admitted recently she has no regrets ''whatsoever'' about her drastic change.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn - who has been married three times, including to Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner, and has six children - is remaining tight-lipped on what the future holds for her love life but has admitted she's ''open to anything'' when pressed on which sex she's attracted to.

She said earlier this week: ''I want a lot of great friends that I can share my life with, OK? And that's important to me. Certainly that love and compassion. I have no idea what that would be in the future.

''I'm kind of open to anything ... Right now, I'm just happy living myself. I have no idea what the future holds. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.''
