'Slide' is a piano led summer anthem with joyful synths, a steady beat, breathy vocals and hints of reggae fusion. For DJs like Calvin Harris, it's never too late to get into the summer spirit and this song is the perfect way to do so.

'Not feel good music. Feel INCREDIBLE music', he told his followers on Twitter recently. 'All my songs in 2017 have been sonically designed to make you feel f***ing incredible.'

'Frank Ocean appears courtesy of Frank Ocean', says the song's linear notes. The Grammy-winning R&B star released his second album 'Blonde' last year, topping charts in the US, the UK and multiple other countries. He also appeared on Kanye West's album 'The Life of Pablo' with the song 'Frank's Track'.

Quavo and Offset from Migos also helped co-write the song. The group recently unveiled their hit second album 'Culture', which included the singles 'T-Shirt' and 'Bad and Boujee' featuring Lil Uzi Vert. Quavo also featured on Post Malone's single 'Congratulations', from his 'Stoney' album.

While we are yet to hear about a follow-up album from Calvin Harris, whose last record 'Motion' came out in October 2014, he has released a number of tracks since then. 2015's 'How Deep Is Your Love' featuring Disciples was followed up by 'This Is What You Came For' featuring Rihanna and 'Hype' with Dizzee Rascal in 2016. He also released 'My Way'; one of the rare occasions on which he has sung on a track.

Calvin has a number of shows coming up this Spring at the Omnia and Hakkasan nightclubs in Las Vegas.
