Calvin Harris clearly doesn’t need to find love in a hopeless place – with a main squeeze like Rita Ora and now a spot among the richest celebrities under 30, the DJ is about as far from hopeless as you can get. The 29-year-old Brit is making bank, and just made Forbes' 30 Under 30 list, with £30 million earned to his name in the past twelve months, since his infamous collaboration with Rihanna and, of course, his massive contract for a well-paid Las Vegas residency.

The former supermarket shelf stacker has nothing to worry about now.

Harris’ name has practically blown up over the past year. Since penning We Found Love, he has gone on to break the record for most UK Top Ten hits on one album. In terms of earnings, that translates as a net worth of around £40 million (Harris was estimated at £10 million before the substantial boost.) This puts Harris in the fourth spot on the highest earners under 30 list.

Not only has he started a high-profile romance in the past year, he's also quadrupled his fortune.

We would bet you could also guess the first three. Lady GaGa takes the top spot, of course. While her hip injury kept her off the radar for the first half of this year, Gaga still managed to rake in an estimated £52 million, thanks to her world tour. Then there’s Justin Bieber, coming in second with £38 million and Taylor Swift, following with a close £36 million – no surprises there, either.

£40 million put Harris firmly in the Top 5.
