It’s been reported that Swift wasn't happy when Harris refused to attend the Grammys with her in February.
Problems between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are now reported to have started as early as February, months before they announced their break-up in May. Swift is said to have been frustrated with Harris after he refused to accompany her to the Grammy awards where she was nominated for album of the year.
Were there problems between Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris as far back as February?
A source told The Sun: “There isn’t a better award you can get than a Grammy Album of the Year. It’s the ultimate accolade you can receive as a musician. If you’re the kind of guy who doesn’t want to stand by your woman on an important night like that then you’ll also be the kind of guy that gets a bit p***ed off when your woman’s getting toasted for the biggest track of your career for the past five years.”
It’s also been reported. that Swift first met future boyfriend Tom Hiddleston in February. “Taylor’s true colours are coming out,” a source said. “The truth is she met Tom in February and things are moving very quickly. She had vacated her relationship with Calvin way before she let on.”
However, friends of Swift denied that she had first met Hiddleston in February, calling the claims “unfounded” and insisting there was “no romance whatsoever” between her and Hiddleston. They also say the couple first met at the Met Gala in New York in May, as had been previously reported.
It was also claimed that when Harris was involved in a car crash on May 20th Swift only spent "one day" by his side. A source claimed that although Swift flew out from her home in Nashville to visit Harris the day after the accident she only spent one day with him.
Meanwhile Tom Hiddleston has finally confirmed his relationship with Swift. "The truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we're very happy," Hiddleston told The Hollywood Reporter. ”Thanks for asking. That's the truth. It's not a publicity stunt."
