Calvin Harris fans, brace yourselves – the DJ/producer extraordinaire will not perform at the MTV European Music Awards tonight, because of his recent health scare. Thankfully, a lot of other people will definitely make an appearance, from Alicia Keys to One Direction and a whole host of boy and girl bands besides, including 5SOS and Fifth Harmony. Basically, the playlist of every 13-year-old girl in 2014.

But wait, there’s more! Nicki Minaj won’t just be hosting, she will also perform. Given how much Miss Minaj loves a bit of scandal, we can’t wait to see what she pulls off without the FCC breathing down her neck.

Also performing on the EMA stage in Glasgow is – and this one is a personal favourite – Mr. Ed Sheeran himself. There is literally not one song off X we wouldn’t love to hear him perform live, so that should be a treat and a half.
