The big announcement came after 12 alluring images were uploaded to Delevingne's Instagram account, which were taken in London by famed photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Topshop's creative director Kate Phelan, which featured her wearing items from the high-street fashion store's forthcoming collection.

Phelan, who used to a fashion editor for Vogue, called the London native a "true Topshop girl."

"Her style is confident and playful and she can be sophisticated and chic as easily as she can be cool and casual. Cara is a true Topshop girl," she said, via The Telegraph. "Putting her spin on everything she makes the Topshop collection her own. Her uninhibited natural energy is intoxicating, she is free spirited and fun."
